Historic Warsaw: A Photo Brief Photo Essay

One evening we went for a walk in Warsaw. It is a beautiful city filled with incredible people. Over 85% of the city, including the Royal Castle and Old Town, were razed to the ground in World War II. Rebuilt and restored, in 1980 historic Old Town was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Here is a brief glimpse of this resilient city.

Warsaw is an incredible city and I have to go back another day to explore it more.

Thank you all for your comments and support as I travel, document, and share our magnificent world.

A special thanks to the people who keep me going via occasional paypal donations and regular monthly patreon support. This wouldn’t be possible without you.

In the next couple weeks I’m hoping to have enough saved up to be able to sit aside and get some work done on the next volume of the Crossing Canada series! Little steps make long journeys, and we’re getting there a bit at a time.

Thank you, and hello, as well to the new subscribers to my mailing list! A new mailout will be on its way soon!
